Mushtaq Ali – Celebrations, designed the decor of Western-inspired Wedding Reception for the son of the owner of the Le Meridien, Kochi. The celebration took place on August 14 at the Le Meridien itself. Celebrations worked with pastels and a purple colour palette for the décor. The client had a traditional wedding so they decided to go for a Western-themed for reception.
Elaborating on the decors, Ali expressed, "We used floral designs, mirror work, crystal chandeliers to add to the elegance of the reception. The entrance to the hotel had a floral gate with fairy tale lamps, sticks and cages on both sides, to create a western look, as desired by the groom. The lobby had an artist stage with the logo of the couple embedded in mirror work."
One of the main attractions of the reception was a tree of colors which brought life at the center of hall. The hall entrance and pillars were cladded with golden mirrors to add to the look.
The reception took place at the Oman Hall within the Hotel, where the backdrop was a huge wall of flowers. A ramp was created especially for the entry of the bride and groom and VIP Guests. The agency created a different style of seating at the dining area to give a rich experience to the guests.
Delightful shades of pastels and purple with mirror work were used in the decor of this wedding reception at Le Meridien, Kochi.
