Whistling Woods International Celebrate Cinema
Whistling Woods International (WWI), one of India's premier film, communications and media arts Institute, is all set to host ‘Celebrate Cinema 2017’ – an action-packed 2-day event in the world of Indian Cinema.
Scheduled to take place on September 22 and 23, 2017, Celebrate Cinema is a platform to rub shoulders with the best of the industry experts and learn about the artistic, technical and commercial aspects of the Media & Entertainment industry. An open-for-all event for all cinema lovers and enthusiasts, aspiring filmmakers, media and fashion professionals, where one gets the opportunity to attend workshops, screenings, various contests and celebrity panel discussions.
The event will host workshops in domains such as Screenwriting, Youtube, Mobile Filmmaking, Grooming, Bollywood Dance, Styling, Dance, Editing, Styling and others.
Celebrate Cinema, which is in its 6th year, was conceptualised by Whistling Woods International in the year 2012, with an idea to pay homage to ‘Indian Cinema’ on the occasion of its centennial year. To mark the joyous occasion, WWI spearheaded the grandest celebration with ‘Cinema 100’. Since then, the institute dedicates two days every year to put forth the grandest history and magnificent advancements of Indian Cinema to all cine lovers, enthusiasts and aspirants, through ‘Celebrate Cinema’.
The previous years of ‘Celebrate Cinema’ have witnessed the presence of industry guests including Amole Gupte, A.R. Rahman, Athiya Shetty, Farhan Akhtar, Gauri Shinde, Gulzaar, Hema Malini, Imtiaz Ali, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Rekha, Rohit Shetty, Shabana Azmi, Sonu Nigam, Vidya Balan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Zoya Akhtar to name a few.
