We all grew up by listening to various fascinating stories, resonating our favorite music, hearing the spellbinding incantations of various poets, which have created everlasting impressions in our minds. To recreate those impressions and to savor the same experiences, SPOKEN FEST 2017 is coming to Mumbai on September 29 and 29, 2017 at JIO Garden, BKC. The two-day festival will witness a confluence of personalities, people with similar passions for words, voices, and stories who are coming together on a platform provided by Kommune.
SPOKEN fest will put a spotlight on some of the most vibrant voices from across India and around the globe and give a stage to poets, storytellers, thespians, lyricists, comedians and musicians who will have your heart beating at the mercy and magic of their words.
Commenting on the event, Roshan Abbas, Co-Founder, Kommune said, "Providing a platform to voices from across the globe, in a festival celebrating Storytelling has been a long cherished Dream for our team at Kommune. This is the culmination of a long standing endeavor!"
Kalki Koechlin, Kautuk Srivastava, Kabir Café, Piyush Mishra, Gaurav Kapoor, Roshan Abbas, The Handlebards, Shayamal Vallabhji, Ankur Tiwari, Diane Ferlatte, are few renowned artists who will be enthralling the audiences with their poignant truths, comedic insights, lyrical ballads and far-out fiction in various languages.
