Bharti Airtel’s most prestigious employee felicitation club, running for 9 years now, was organised and successfully executed by Akkado for the second time in a row this year in Dubai. The much sought after event once again came with a promise of unbelievable entertainment and celebration on August 19. This year, once again Akkado got the chance to organise the event in Dubai while TravelClinic, the sister company meticulously planned the entire Travel, Hotel and excursions for the group comprising of 600 pax!

Achievers’ Club is an annual property of Airtel since 2008. This event is a unique platform that gives a chance to 500 sales employees across India to travel to a foreign land and celebrate their success with fellow winners along with serving the attendees a high dosage of entertainment and a night of revelry. Abhishek Sharma, Co-Founder, Akkado & TravelClinic said, “Around 550 to 600 top performers of Bharati Airtel’s sales staff are selected and taken for an international trip every year. This is the second consecutive time that Akkado has bagged this event and a hat trick for Travelclinic to be their Travel partner. Right from the entire travel to stay to sightseeing, and the gala event, we managed all aspects of the trip.”

The 9th Airtel Achievers’ Club was high on digital involvement of the club members. This was initiated through a dedicated Facebook page and addition of maximum people on the same within the first 24 hours. The dynamic event took a wonderful start with a pre event Facebook and SMS campaign started one month prior to the date of the event. This closed Facebook group comprises of only the travellers and has been running for the last 3 years duly managed and moderated by Akkado. The pre event hype continued until the ultimate showdown at The Grand Hyatt, Dubai. The event was a star-studded spectacle where many renowned celebrities from the Indian Film Industry brightened the evening.

Sunil Grover aka Dr. Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi and Sona Mohapatra set the stage ablaze with their breath-taking performances.

To highlight the story of success that began 9 years ago, this year’s Airtel Achievers’ Club had an overlaying theme, HEROES UNITED, which symbolized the journey of Achievers towards excellence and a celebration of their success.

The spotlight throughout the event was on the exquisite stage set up and the vibrant personalized content on the LED. It was empowered with technological innovations such as Social RFID. To make the event more interesting and grand and to highlight this year’s theme, all the participants were asked to dress like their heroes and the participation was tremendous.

The event was Live Streamed through Achievers’ Club Youtube Channel with a turnaround of more than 10,000 views from across the country. The idea was to make the Achievers feel special and involve their family members in what was bound to be one of the most proud moment in their lives.
