Moksh Events Manages the Mammoth Jain Terapanth Chaturmas Celebrations in Kolkata

Chaturmas is one of the biggest religious celebrations for the Jain community. Observed every year for a period of four months, the period of Chaturmas is commemorated by the Jains with great devotion at large congregations, followed by preaching by their godmen and other holy practices.
This year the city of Kolkata is seeing one of the biggest celebrations of ‘Jain Terapanth Chaturmas’ that is being attended by 12 to 15 lac Jains from all over the world.
The event has Acharya Mahashraman along with his Jain Sadhus and Sadhvis residing in the city for daily preaching and celebratory events. Moksh Events was roped in to execute the holy festival.
The agency began working on the project by completing approximately 1 lac sq. ft. of full construction of the Pravachan area and the food court. Additionally, the entire inventory to execute this mammoth event was entirely managed by Moksh right form the LED to the Sound, logistics, structure etc. in the record time of 24 days.
For the daily preaching and meeting sessions, Moksh has created 2 hangars, one of approx. 70,000 sq.ft and the second hangar of approx. 30,000 sq. in the fully air-conditioned dining and kitchen area. Special rooms were created for kids along with 2 spiritual rooms for meditation.
The agency has also erected 18 Permanent toilets and shower rooms with special provision for the differently-abled with wheel-chairs and ramps.
Talking about the execution, Vijay Bokadia-Director, Moksh Events said, “Chaturmas is one of the biggest celebrations for the Jain Community and we are honoured to have been chosen to execute this project for them. The spiritual congregation is the biggest of its kind and has seen the presence of over 1.5 Million devotees this year. It will conclude on November 4, 2017.”
