Abu Dhabi Links with WOW 2017 to Host an Exclusive Co-Located Event

Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority has confirmed its association with WOW Awards & Convention Asia 2017 to strategically leverage the region's biggest business and recognition platform for the Experiential Marketing, MICE & Wedding Industry and to showcase what the destination of Abu Dhabi offers Indian wedding planners.
India is one of the largest source markets for visitors to Abu Dhabi attracting 323,388 Indian hotel guests in 2016, with a large proportion of travellers coming to the city for meetings and events. Additionally, a range of incentives to support wedding planners,the joy of year-round great weather,beautiful hotels, and incredible restaurants have established Abu Dhabi as an immensely popular Indian wedding celebration destination.
As part of the association, the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority will participate in the Experiential Planner Expo of WOW 2017, and co-host India’s top destination wedding planners of India who will be traveling from all over the country for the event.
Further, an invitation-only exclusive ‘Exquisite Weddings in Abu Dhabi Evening’ event will be hosted by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority at Akira Back, JW Marriott New Delhi, Aerocity on 7th July to showcase all that the destination has to offer to Destination Wedding Planners.
Announcing the association with WOW Awards Asia and EPEX 2017 Mr. Bejan Dinshaw, Country Manager for TCA Abu Dhabi in India said: “Abu Dhabi is a premium wedding destination and we are excited to have associated with WOW Awards and Convention Asia 2017 and EPEX 2017. Abu Dhabi has the facilities to host large groups and intimate wedding celebrations while offering the depth and diversity of experiences for add-on elements.
“It is a great platform for us to showcase our best offerings to the top wedding and MICE planners of the country and in Asia and we are eagerly looking forward to the conventionto introduce our extensive network of professional conference organizers and destination management companies who can help plan festivities” he added.
The WOW Awards and Convention Asia 2017 is set to take place from July 6 - 8, 2017 across JW Marriott and Hotel Pullman, New Delhi, Aerocity. Asia's largest recognition platform for excellence in the experiential industry, the WOW Awards Asia 2017 has received a thundering response in terms of entries this year in 70 categories across five award groups. The five groups of categories are MICE/Business Events, Experiential Marketing, Event Intellectual Properties, Experiential Celebrations and Experiential Management.
60 Experiential experts from around the globe are currently busy with Round 2 of the judging process of the WOW Awards Asia 2017 and these experts comprise of leading marketers, industry veterans, and international industry professionals. The entire judging process is being conducted with oversight from KPMG in India as the process evaluators.
