Check out this sweet Wedding dinner conceptualised and executed by Wedding Duo at Olive Bar & Kitchen, New Delhi for a South Africa-based couple!
They were madly in love and wanted their dinner to be a celebration of their union with those who had been there and seen them grow together. They were flying to India to have a court registry and the following evening they wanted a very private, intimate wedding dinner.
Vishal Chand, Director, Wedding Duo explains, "With telephonic and email correspondence we channelled everything from their wedding invite, Guest RSVP, transport requirements, photographer, the venue and the décor. It was a very close knit evening with immense personalisation."
The entire indoor restaurant at Olive Bar & Kitchen, Mehrauli was booked for them with a carefully selected bar and sit down dinner service.
The highlight was their welcome which had a mix of brass terrariums with flowers and candles right outside by the large banyan tree.
And as you entered this joyful evening you could hear live singing just waiting for you to jive to and a lot of warmth and laughter!
Carrying forward from the RSVP, each of the 6 tables had a precise seating plan with each guest name hand-written on a very pretty white paper butterfly settled onto a champagne glass.
With that, each guest had a personalised gift that was brought in by the couple from South Africa that the Wedding Duo team tucked into a silver bag with a thank you note.
The agency also printed the four-course sit down meal onto a tent card dressed with a silver origami influenced paper flower. All these were a carry forward of their theme of white and silver and lots of flowers.
To make the tables look dressy and fancy the agency brought in white porcelain vases and alternated them with wild flowers and delicate tulips. And to close it all, there were plenty of candles and natural polished wooden candle stands.
A take back was a mirror frame in white where guests wrote their best wishes for the couple to remember them by, when back in South Africa.
