A three-day event planned at Westin Gurgaon to showcase Crocs’ Spring Summer Collection’18 to its Trade & E-Commerce partners and the Media was a glamorous and fashionable affair. Day 1 started with the E-Comm partners witnessing the new collection in more than 12 categories with different positioning for each category.

Each day started with a presentation from Deepak Chhabra, Managing Director, Crocs India talking about the Indian Market, the brand’s growth story so far and the future opportunities + strategies to penetrate the market further with the all new SS’18 collection and designs/patterns being launched by the brand. The E-Commerce manager further took them through the progress of the brand on e-comm channels and what they plan for the upcoming years to boost online visibility and sales thereon.

Followed by these presentations, the product team took over and showcased each and every product through a set of models presenting the collection on all time favourite Summertime kind of Songs. Marketing presentations and one-on-one sessions with the trade partners kept them busy for the entire day followed by the Networking session over Cocktails for all 3 days.

The evening of June 7 was the highlight of the event as the brand associated with Nidhi Munim, the beachwear fashion designer from Mumbai, to showcase the new collection to the Media and its key partners. Gauhar Khan, Bollywood diva & glam actress, concluded the show as she was the showstopper for the fashion sequence. The brand showcased 57 looks to the media, bloggers and its partners which was followed by the Awards Ceremony for their trade partners who performed well in the year 2016. Awards were divided into different categories - Distribution, Retail and E-Commerce - and hosted by Deepak Chhabra. The show ended with a Thank-You note by Chhabra to their key partners for all the hard work and dedication they have put in over the years for where the brand has reached now. All in all, it was a successful show with the house full of Bloggers, Partners & the Media who came to witness the new collection.

Interesting photo ops integrated the campaign, Come As You Are, pushed the content on Social Media via Bloggers, Trade community posting about it on various platforms. Quirky props, a beach-themed look and feel added to the entire photo op unit. The Pre-function zone was also transformed to the brand zone with the collection being displayed by the Visual merchandise team and integration of products, tastefully chosen, in the photo op/branding zone made it look like an experiential space for the brand.

Prateek Nagpal, Client Services Lead- Toast Events, said, “This event has been very special and close to us, as we had been a part of the client meetings since day 1, when the brand started to develop & strategize an event of this stature. This is the first time when the brand has done the collection launch with the Media, Bloggers and the Key Partners all under one roof & at this scale. The fashion show association with the designer took the event to another level with her support and making this association a memorable one.”

Gautam Mehta, Production Lead- Toast Events, added, “The Setup changes every night was a challenge for us as we have had limited time in hand after the Networking parties on each evening with a different set of trade partners. On Day 1 & 3, we have had only 2 parts of Ballroom and on Day 2 we had the complete ballroom with us, leaving us in a situation where we had to do changes in Setup, Lighting and Sound plan every night. Detailed planning with the Hotel and a few meetings with client to set the agenda in detail for everyday helped us pull this off smoothly.”
