Madrid based businessman, Harish Fabiani’s nephew, Navin married Dubai-based Sonam Vaswani (daughter of Sunil Vaswani of Stallion Group and one of the richest Indians in the Gulf) in an absolutely spectacular wedding extravaganza that took place on June 3, 4 and 5 in Vienna. 

The celebrations were shot by one of India's most sought after wedding filmers, Badal Raja Company. The dynamic duo Badal Jain and Raja Jain have captured some of the biggest Indian weddings to have ever taken place around the world.

Hospitality and Logistics were handled by Motwane Entertainment and Weddings and Decor by The Wedding Design Company. While, F&B was curated and produced by The Kitchen Art Company.

Celebrated Wedding Photographer Badal Jain explained, “This project was special as it comes from an over 13-year-old relationship with the super lovely and tasteful Vaswani family from Dubai. The beauty about the brief is that they give us a complete free hand to create; and as artists, that is the only thing we crave for!”

As expected, the flamboyant events as part of this wedding were attended by a glittering guest list which included Bollywood bigwigs, industrialists and top notch socialites. Sanjay and Anusuya Hinduja, Natasha Poonawalla, Samyukta Nair of the Leela Group of Hotels and Sid Mallya were among those spotted celebrating with the couple.

Attending guests from around the world were presented with a booklet with customized water colour illustrations to familiarize them with the rituals that were to take place in the following days.

Day 1 saw the festivities begin with a Mehendi at Gartenpalais Liechtenstein where Punjabi singer Sukhbir performed.

Gartenpalais Liechtenstein, a spectacular venue in Vienna, has been host to several Indian wedding celebrations in the last few years. What makes the venue an ideal choice is perhaps the fact that the palace is very near to the most exclusive hotels of Vienna and the inner city with its impressive sights.

Surrounded by a beautiful garden, it offers an exclusive and private ambience for high class events and weddings. It is privately owned by one of the oldest noble families in Europe, the princely family of Liechtenstein. Selected masterpieces of the princely art collection, one of the most precious private collections in the world, are on display in the palace!

The Sangeet and Cocktail took place the next evening at Hofburg Palace featuring the most talked about element of this big fat Indian wedding- a gig by American Pop star, Bruno Mars!

The gorgeous wedding took place at Belvedere Palace on June 5.

Speaking of working in Europe, Raja Jain said, “Europe has been one of our favourite wedding destinations. Having shot weddings in the picturesque locations of Salzburg, Florence, Tenerife, France, Barcelona we knew this one had to be a visual treat again!”
