Experiential Venues Awards JW Marriott Aerocity WOW Awards Asia 2017
The Experiential Venues Awards 2017 is scheduled to take place on July 6 at JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity and will be co-located with the WOW Awards and Convention Asia 2017, the largest recognition platform for MICE, Live Marketing & the Entertainment Industry.
Experiential Venues Awards will recognise and celebrate the best venues that support the ever-expanding Indian MICE and Weddings market. The awards are an initiative of EVENTFAQS Media- country's largest business media platform for the Indian experiential industry, in association with EEMA, the country's apex body for the event and entertainment industry.
The Experiential Venues Awards 2017 and the WOW Awards and Conventions Asia, will see over a 1000 Brand, MICE, Event, and Wedding professionals convene to celebrate the best in the business of events and experiential.
The 17 categories of the ExV Awards 2017 are divided into 3 groups: Industry Nomination categories (15); based on Industry Voting (1); and Based on Editorial & Jury Choice for the most landmark development of 2017 in the industry domain. (1).
The judging process is being conducted with KPMG in India as the Process Advisors and Evaluators. With 15 industry nomination categories, the process has two rounds. The first stage of the Round 1 includes editorial research, industry nominations for MICE and wedding venues (popular choice), and jury nominations, at the end of which the broader consideration set will be decided. The next stage will witness Jury Scoring of all nominations with ratings on a scale from 1-10. Scoring of Nominated Venues will be based on first-hand experience as an expert planner. In Round 2, a venue will qualify for the next round if it is scored by at least 3 jury members, and top rated entries in each category will be shortlisted. Round 3 will see the shortlisted venues screened within the specific category based on the entry docket submitted by them to qualify for final round. On the basis of the entry docket, Independent Process Evaluators will compile all jury scores and average the top 5 scores to arrive at the final winner. One category, ‘India’s Favourite Hospitality Group’, will be based exclusively on industry’s online voting. The ‘Best Landmark Developments of 2017’ category will be based on Editorial Team and Jury Choice.
