F5 Weddings Jagmandir Island Palace Rajasthan Weddings
The couple, Vaishali and Nikhil, wanted a venue which would give their guests an experience of Indian ethos. And what better than Rajasthan which is abundant in culture that evokes Indian traditions. Jagmandir Island Palace set in the middle of Pichola Lake in Udaipur was finalized and F5 Weddings won the mandate to execute this project.

Day 1 was a traditional Marwari ceremony called Myra. The event theme was Rajasthani- Padharo Mare Desh. The dress code was yellow and pink.
Ghoomar dancers, traditional folk singers, mehendi artists, lac bangle makers, nail art professionals, parrot readers, etc kept the guest entertained. Decor also featured traditional Rajasthani elements.
The couple entered with band on an open cycle accompanied by dholwala’s.Ladies indulged in some Garba dances to the tunes of the folk singers. A traditional Marwari Sajanogth Lunch with silver ware and a huge variety of traditional food was on offer.
The same evening, a Sangeet titled Jashn-e-Ishqat took place at the romantic Zanana Mahal. The dress code for the gala was Indian fusion. A royal welcome was extended to all guests with rose petal showers, horses with men, Rajasthani folk dancers and the Navy band. The couple made a celestial entry surrounded by white fairies.
Day 2 was the Firangi themed Luncheon. The décor was very English with lots of flower elements. Sunshine and pastel colors adorned the venue, with a big sunglass photo booth cut out. Ring toss, Jenga, caricature and other activities kept the guests enthralled.
Percussionist Lalit took the party grooving with the DJ jamming live. Live gola counter, kulfi counter was a hit amongst many. The concluding act was the Wishing Balloon, where all guests made a wish for the couple and hundreds of balloons were released into the dusky Udaipur sky.
The pheras at Jagmandir Palace were simply breathtaking. The musical pheras were explained to the guests by a wedding troupe from Jaipur. The mandap looked absolutely romantic overlooking Lake Pichola with a full moon right above it. The baraat made an unusual entry via boats.
The bride entered to her self-recorded background score of the wedding vows she narrated for the groom Nikhil: so romantic, right?
The cool winter breeze and open skies witnessed an all-white reception of the newlyweds. The couple entered under the cold pyro tunnel created by family and friends. The décor consisted of high centrepieces, candles and twinkling fairy lights. Indian jazz band Maddy Sharma and Jojo performed an aquatic set of music and all the guests went to meet and bless the new couple on stage.
The bride Vaishali exclaimed, “Team F5 helped us from pin to plane and did a fantastic job. Each and every member of the team added their personal attention to everything before and during the wedding functions. Despite plenty of changes the team were really patient with us and helped us through all of our doubts.”
