EEMA and ILEA to Host an India-UAE Industry Round-Table at WOW Convention Asia 2017

The WOW Awards and Convention Asia 2017 is set to take place in association with the Event and Entertainment Management Association of India (EEMA), who will also play host to the delegation of the International LIVE Events Association (ILEA) – Middle East chapter. As part of an ongoing endeavour to build cross-region opportunities between India and the Middle East with the platform of the WOW Awards and Convention Asia, EEMA and ILEA will host a joint round-table discussion at the event.

The round-table discussion will be open to all those interested in the opportunities and learning exchanges by the two industry associations with members of the top event and Experiential agencies, of each region.

Best practices, opportunities of business, collaboration, joint initiatives and even a partner association relationship will be some of the areas of discussion.

One of the most important achievements and ongoing objectives of the ILEA Middle East chapter has been to work on Health and Safety issues, and also ensure the implementation of these. Health and Safety is also an important priority of EEMA, and opportunities of shared practices will be explored.

Further, EEMA with its constituent members will explore synergies in working in the Middles East markets through collaborative efforts with ILEA members. With the UAE seeing a growing number of MICE visitors from India, agencies in India would look to benefit from the network and resources that ILEA can provide access to, in order to provide clients with the best experiences possible. Further, with a number of entertainment companies from India already entrenched in the UAE market, either directly or through their partners, models for collaboration do exist, even while there remains a tremendous scope for new partnerships and synergies. The round table will help pave the way forward for these

Speaking about the association and the round-table discussion, Sabbas Joseph, President, EEMA said, “On behalf of EEMA I welcome the leadership of the ILEA MENA region to our country. Adding to this, Dan Bolton, Incoming President, ILEA – Middle East chapter remarked, “I and ILEA are looking forward to the upcoming round table event which is taking place at the WOW Awards Asia between ILEA - Middle East and EEMA. The WOW Awards and Convention Asia 2017 will take place from July 6 to 8 at New Delhi Aerocity.
