ICE - Integrated Conference & Event Management managed a musical evening on April 8 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Delhi with singing sensations Mohit Chauhan and Neha Kakkar for a 3500 plus audience.
The evening kick-started with a Ganesh Vandana performance by the Aasma group. The audience was overwhelmed with the opening act and the impressive lighting effect on the stage.
Later on, Mohit Chauhan took over the stage with his song ‘Sada Haq’ and went on to perform his hit numbers including Tum Se Hi, Pee Loon, Masakali, Nadaan Parinde, Yeh Dooriyan, amongst others.
Singing sensation Neha Kakkar enthralled the crowd with her groovy tracks including Kala Chashma, Kar Gayi Chul, Manali Trance, London Thumakda, Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast and many others.
Commenting on the event execution, Naveen Rizvi, Executive Director, ICE- Integrated Conference & Event Management pointed out to the limited time frame available for the execution of the event. “The requirement of the event was an outdoor venue in South Delhi. As event manager, our task was to choose a venue to accommodate 3500 guests with buffet space, a grand stage and also provide parking facility for at least 600 cars. After much deliberation, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium was finalized.”
A major logistical challenge was to convert the entire ground into a gala dinner and concert venue in approximately 24 hours as the same venue was booked for another event two days prior to the concernt. “Constructing a venue for an event of such a magnitude usually take 2-3 days of setup time; however, we had to do the entire setup from venue barricading for enclosures, dinning setup, Stage setup , technical (audio visual) setup, carpeting (1,50,000 sqft area), artist tech rehearsals, security etc. in less than 20 hours. After a lot of meetings and microscopic detailing we had the set-up ready on time. The stage setup was gigantic measuring 60X40 feet with musical instrument setup including drums, guitars, keyboard for the troops.”
Managed by ICE - Integrated Conference & Event Management, the concert took place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi.
