Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu Inaugurates CREDAI National Investiture Ceremony

Gobananas was responsible for executing CREDAI National Investiture Ceremony, where Jaxay Shah was appointed as the President of CREDAI. The event on April 8 and 9 was attended by Credai Fraternity and Real estate developers of India, where the Chief Guest was the Union Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Urban Poverty Alleviation M Venkaiah Naidu.

The CREDAI National Investiture Ceremony was a two-day event with over 300 esteemed guests flying from all over India. The ceremony took off at an auspicious note, where GIHED CREDAI inaugurated a new 50,000 sq. ft. office. The ECGC meeting was held there after the opening. 

Gobananas has associated with CREDAI, GIHED and MCHI-CREDAI for over a decade now, conceptualising and managing events for them.

Day one ended on a high note with a special evening planned at one of the city’s clubs. Sunil Grover entertained everyone throughout the evening, making sure there was not a single dull moment. He played Dr. Mashoor Gulati and Gutthi with fervour. The signing off ceremony was conducted for the then President and Chairman, Getamber Anand and Irfan Razack, respectively, both dearly known as the ‘Jay and Viru’ of CREDAI fraternity had something special in store for them.

Gobananas got a special poster designed for them from the famous movie and they even made a striking entry on a scooter with sidecar to add to the thrill of their roles. Mihir Ranpara, Director, Gobananas said, “It is always a pleasure to work for CREDAI, the challenge this time was to conduct a formal event and at the same time not make it too mundane. We made sure we added a glimpse of entertainment with all the traditional ceremonies.”

Day two was the main change of guard ceremony, held at Mahatma Mandir Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Jaxay Shah was appointed as the President of CREDAI. He presented his two-year manifesto with initiatives like the Skill Development, Waste Management and the social agenda of CREDAI. Chief Guest, Union minister for Housing, Urban Development and Urban Poverty Alleviation M Venkaiah Naidu, inaugurated the function and began his speech with “Mane ahiya avine khub anand thayu che.”

The announcement of an investment of over 70,000 crores in 375+ new affordable housing projects through its member developers spread across different city chapters was made. The function saw many renowned personalities applaud the efforts of Realty sector in India and especially in Gujarat. CM Shri Vijay Rupani stressed on the developmental policies that they have appointed and how it is changing the realty scenario.   

Nishit Shah, Director, Gobananas added, “We appointed a special team whose only job was to manage all the guests and make sure they feel at home. Day two also saw ministers flying in and we had to make sure of their safety along with all the protocols which were strictly followed.”
