International beauty brand Kiko Milano launched their 1000th global store and 3rd store in India at Ambience Mall Gurgaon on April 8. Launching the first 2 stores in India, Toast Events was awarded the mandate to launch the 1000th global store for the brand.

The event was designed and conceptualized along with the brand with a focus to create mileage on conventional and social media platforms.

The event started with beauty and fashion bloggers being invited to the store to witness the collection whilst magazines got to interact with the CEO, Stefano Percassi and the brand’s Country Director, Annanya Sabarwal on the day of the launch.

Prateek Nagpal, Client Servicing Lead, Toast Events remarked “This launch had to be iconic, with being a hot favourite brand in India as also reaching to 1000 globally. Strategically creating interesting experiences while resonating the global ethos of the brand, the event had to be multi-fold connecting with the consumers, the media, trade partners and presenting the brand like never seen before.”

This one being a media-centric event, the charming and glamorous Vaani Kapoor was chosen to launch the store along with Percassi and Timmy Sarna, MD & CEO, DLF Brands. They were later joined in by the Bollywood Diva, Diana Penty, at the Store.

Experiential & make-up sessions with these two Bollywood celebs created an opportunity for magazines & bloggers to curate content for the brand which was a highlight on Social Media. Crazy Boomerangs to FB live & a small video at the Kiko Booth took Social Media with surprise.

The brand witnessed a lot of brand lovers queued up for the Store launch as well, while the first 3 consumers got gratification of substantial amounts at the store launch while the rest got free goodie bags & experiential sessions from renowned make-up artists. FB Integration and quirky props at the Kiko Video Booth drove the consumers and bloggers crazy with a flood of Videos on FB which again proved to be a good engagement activity for the brand launch.

The Store launch followed by an After Party with the who’s who from Delhi created a brand wave in the city. The After Party held at the Electric Room @The Lodhi witnessed more than 150+ guests with all known faces from Delhi under a roof to celebrate the brand’s milestone.

The after party was a classy and chic affair with a lot of décor elements coming into play and included Brand Experiential Zones, and the transformation of a regular bar into the KIKO Make-up Bar. The limelight of the After Party was Diana Penty who was seen interacting with the guests and the brand representatives.

Gautam Mehta, Production Lead, Toast Events added, “Transforming the After Party venue to a completely new setting with low turn around, enabled us to experiment with newer materials and design elements, infusing creativitiy to change the look and feel of the venue proved to be quite fun. Planning the production to the minutest detail enabled us to create an extravagant affair like a cakewalk. Happy and proud to be associated with the brand for about a year now.”

This media-centric launch and after party aimed to generate as much buzz as possible on social media, and was managed by Toast Events.
