Times Innovation Roadshow Inspires Creative Professionals to Empower Brands

BCCL Group has just wrapped up The Times Innovation Roadshow, an activity that took place across creative agencies in Delhi and Mumbai from March 27 to April 3.

The Innovation Roadshow was a unique platform that brought together a wide range of creative solutions for the print advertising industry and showcased the innovation possibilities and potential of this medium. It was well received at over 13 agency offices across Mumbai and Delhi, engaging a creative talent pool of more than 1100 people. Some of the agencies who have benefitted from this initiative were DDB Mudra, FCBUlka, Grey Worldwide, Lowe Lintas, Ogilvy & Mather, L&K Saatchi Mumbai, JWT, Taproot and many more.

Each day-long innovation gallery at the respective agency’s conference room displayed 52 of the best print innovations of BCCL and inspired creative professionals to innovate further to empower their brands. Employees across levels and functions visited this innovative road show to go through the work displayed.

Some of the innovations that caught viewers’ attention were the 3D innovation, super panorama, word hijack and XXL to name a few. “One of the key objectives of The Innovation Roadshow is to generate excitement and stimulate ideas among young creative talent.  Print is the only medium capable of igniting all five senses of the customer through one single creative. These innovations have the power to create high impact for brands and amplify a campaign’s message,” said Sivakumar Sundaram, President - Revenue, BCCL Group.

Creative professionals were particularly intrigued with the possibilities that print can offer and most of them took pictures of the work displayed and discussed how it could be used in their daily routine. Visitors also said that this roadshow was an eye-opener on the innovative potential of the print medium and widened their thinking beyond regular ads. In short, it was an activity that informed and inspired creative talent.

This roadshow also invited creative talent to come up with the 53rd innovation. Agencies who missed out on The Times Innovation Roadshow can catch up with it at Goa Fest 2017 where the innovations showcased will be on display for the entirety of the festival.

BCCL is also offering a fully paid trip to Cannes Lions 2017 to the two best entries. Agencies can enter the Innovation Roadshow contest here; the last date to submit entries is April 15.
