Bollyboom, the Bollywood electro-music festival by media giant Percept is gearing up for its second edition as it attempts to create Bollyboom Dance Music Holi Party — a 7-hour non-stop scintillating celebration of India’s much loved festival of color with Nucleya, DJ Chetas, DJ Aman Nagpal and DJ Shireen on March13 at Tulip Star, Juhu Mumbai.

Along with a stellar lineup, the Bollyboom Holi Bash will also feature live percussionists, exotic dancers, and performers and will usher in the festive mood. The event will offer a curated F&B experience for all attendees and a focus on making the overall celebration a safe and secure one.

Apart from the main event in Mumbai, the event will also be streamed LIVE across 20 cities which will host connected Bollyboom Holi parties along with local DJs and supporting acts. The idea behind the event is to bring the entire nation to celebrate the festival of colours together. The event will also feature a two-way LIVE stream allowing interactions among multiple cities during the event. The Mumbai event will be attended by known celebrities, socialites as well as general audiences who will converge from different parts of the city.

With a perfect blend of Bollywood dance music and colours, attendees can immerse themselves in a carnival mood with multiple food courts and activity zones for attendees who may want to take a break from the dancing. Expect a blend of Bollywood dance, pop, and club music. Apart from promoting the use of eco-friendly organic colours, the event will be water free.

Indu Mehta, Business Head, Bollyboom states, “Bollywood music lends itself beautifully to the festival of colours and brings people together as a part of a grand celebration. This was the seed thought behind the idea of the Bollyboom Holi Bash and we are excited to bring together some of the biggest names in dance music at this event to give people around the country one of the best Holi celebrations ever witnessed. Our aim while producing the event at this scale was also to ensure the safety and security of all attendees. Keeping this in mind there is a strict embargo on bringing in any external colors or F&B items to the event venue. We expect this to be a great start to our Bollyboom calendar which will feature more than 40 events in the calendar year”

Adding to this, Manuj Agarwal, CEO, Percept Live said, “Percept Live has had a history of bringing some of the best Live IPs to the country, Sunburn being one of the biggest IP, which is today recognized globally. About 95% of the Indian population loves Bollywood Music and as a genre, it is associated with almost all major festivals in the country. Holi provides the perfect setting for this launch of Bollyboom 2017. We aim to deliver best in class Bollywood dance music experience to our audiences. With long-term access to the finest venues across the country, Percept will draw from its existing relations with celebrities and artists among other things. We hope to scale the event in the coming years without compromising on the experience and quality.”
