11EVEN SPORTS Private Limited (ESPL) is a Mumbai-based company exclusively formed for the promotion and development of the game of Table Tennis in India. ESPL has entered into a 10-year agreement with Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) to develop the sport from grassroots to the professional level. ESPL also won the bid to organize the first ever ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) World Tour Event in India, the India Open in February 2017. ESPL, with the support of TTFI is committed to increase the footprint of Table Tennis in India and it aims to take the love for Table Tennis beyond courts, make it mainstream and redefine the standards of the game.
The event took place from February 14 to 19 at Thyagraj Stadium, INA Colony, Delhi, where around 5000 people attended.
GS Sports was brought on board to manage the entire venue operations inclusive of Branding, look and feel of the stadium, Light and Sound, Housekeeping, Security, Accreditation and Hospitality. The agency used innovative light designs and creative artwork for the stadium branding. The agency also created a Hospitality Lounge for VIP’s.
Bunty S Walia, Owner, GS Sports remarked, “It was an honor to be a part of India Open 2017. GS Sports is one of the most renowned sports management company managing Chennaiyin FC, Jaipur Pink Panthers and all stars football club exclusively, there were many challenges: we got the venue three days prior to the event, Light design for table tennis tournament was a task but we overcame it with our efficient team. All said and done we are glad that we met up to the expectations of the event and will be geared to take on events on grand scale as this.”
INDIA OPEN is a part of the selected 12 nations to host the ITTF World Tour. This event was broadcast across 62 countries and has a viewership of around 400,000 people. This was also televised live on Star Sports HD 4 and Star Sports 4. India Open also offered prize money of 150,000 USD.The promoter Vita Dani is the Chairperson and is actively involved in several sporting, cultural & social initiatives around the world. She is the owner of football club Chennaiyin F. C.
GS Worldwide Entertainment was given the event with a strict budget and had to deliver quality and a world class event within a short timeline. Walia remarked, “We got the stadium 3 days prior to the event. The timelines were extremely short. The light design for the Table Tennis was challenging, with LUX levels being 1500. We had an intelligent lighting management to adapt a uniform luminaries in the hall to bring the technical elements together for a flawless event.”

Organised by ESPL, the event was part of the International Table Tennis Federation World Tour.
