Check out this vibrant Baloon Baraat conceptualized by Aash Studio for a recent wedding in Mumbai!

Speaking of the client brief, Aashna Singh, Director Aash Studios explains, "My client wanted a blanket of sorts over the heads of the baaratis that was well lit and big, as usually it gets difficult to manage a big baarat and all the other proceedings on the roads of Mumbai."
So instead of doing something traditional, the agency decided to play around with this idea. Whilst researching Aashna Singh came across Charles Petillon, a London-based artist who installed a giant cloud of balloons under the roof of the 19th-century Market Building in London's Covent Garden.
Taking inspiration from that, Aash Studios used over 5000 helium balloons to create layers of balloons that would make the baarat look like a floating cloud while also distinguishing the baarat from the rest of the crowd.
The balloon blanket extended over 35 feet and was lit with different strobe lights to give the white balloons its different colours, and the baaratis happily partied underneath it.

The baraat was also not a traditional one with dhols, but had a DJ truck with an LED screen and a full fledged bar, and a even a food truck!
