Think Events Produces the 4th Edition of the NDTV Design & Architecture Awards 2016

Think Events Taj Lands End NDTV

For the second time in a row, Think Events conceptualized and produced the NDTV Design & Architecture Awards 2016, presented by GROHE. Amidst the Jury comprising of eminent architects and interior designers and renowned guests, the highly anticipated awards acknowledged and recognized the best of the best for their immense contribution to the field of architecture and design. The grand ceremony was hosted by Manisha Natarajan, Executive Editor, Business & Real Estate, NDTV Limited along with Beverly White, Anjilee Istwal & Annapoorna Subramanium at the Seaside Lawns, Taj Lands End in Mumbai on January 20.

Hailed as one of the best awards by the Architects Guild, the NDTV Design & Architecture Awards are known for their credibility, rigour, and discipline. The highly coveted awards focused on the complexities of building projects from a design, aesthetic, sustainability and conservation perspective, as well as the local context.

In line with this, the set was designed with a series of staggered LED panels at different heights, visually adding asymmetric, dynamic with complementing visuals.

Apaar Bhandari, Associate, Think Events said, "It has always been a pleasure working with NDTV. This is the third year we have been associated with them and it has never felt like we are different teams and the results speak for themselves."

This year, the juries were determined to set the bar high and take a collective view after rigorous assessment to recognize the architectural excellence and innovation that our country has to offer. The NDTV Design and Architecture Awards 2016 were hosted in partnership with Grohe India. The Associate Partners for the awards were Nippon Paint, Saint-Gobain Designs, art d' inox and D&M Workshop Solutions. Other partners were Ethos (Student Awards Partner); Elle Décor (Décor Partner); Zingy Homes (Online Partner); Taj Lands End, Mumbai (Hospitality Partner); Mojarto (Online Art Partner); with CP Kukreja Architects, C. N. Raghavendran, and DSP Design Associates Pvt. Ltd on the Advisory Board.

On the event, Varun Kalra, Head, Special Events & Programming remarked, "It is always a pleasure to work with Think Events, having done multiple shows with them as a company.
