Sandoz wanted to increase the dose of happiness at their Kalwe plant in Maharashtra for which AFP conceptualised and managed a Family Day with elaborate activities designed to appeal to different groups – employees with children and families, as well as younger employees. The event took place on December 17 and had around 2000 people present.

A for Pineapple (AFP) won the pitch in which 7 agencies participated due to their creative solutions and expertise in delivering experiential events.

With Sandoz organising a family day after a gap of seven years, it was important that for the event to really stand out. Further the agency had to plan everything within the short time frame of 9 days.

Fifty security personals from G4S were hired to manage the crowd and safety.

As soon as the guests arrived they were enthralled with high-energy traditional Marathi dance troupes that sported lejhim, dhol and tutaari. Different activities were planned for different age groups. The kids enjoyed Jumping Jack Bouncy, and a Mini Train while the adults indulged in Box Cricket. For the women there was Mehendi, tattoo, hair braiding and make-up artists. Family photos were clicked against interesting backdrops and various props added that extra zing.

The evening ceremony began with Internal talent performing followed by power-packed performances by the Fictitious group, Illusionist- Hasan Rizvi and singer Renee Chandra.

The event on December 17 took place at the company’s Kalwe plant in Maharashtra, where entertainment included performances by the Fictitious group, Illusionist- Hasan Rizvi and singer Renee Chandra.
