Nash Experience was responsible for managing the 14th Raymond Crossword Book Award that took place recently at the TATA Theatre, NCPA. Eminent personalities at the Awards night were Madhu Datta from Raymond, Chief Guest Shekhar Gupta, Payal Gidwani, Neel Raheja, author Leena Mogre, B S Nagesh, spiritual guru Mynoo Maryel, Ravi Subramanian, Anupama Chopra. Social media maven Miss Malini was the host for the evening.
Exclusively Indian, inclusive in every other sense, the 14th Raymond Crossword Book Awards brings together the entire literary community - readers, authors, booksellers and publishers to not only recognize and reward good writing, but also to actively promote Indian authors and their books - making it the only Indian award of its kind to do so.
Around 800 to 900 people attended this awards including HNI’s, Authors, Publishers and relative individuals from Literature Fraternity.
Nash Events won the mandate to manage the event in a multi-agency pitch basis its creative and strategic integration, keeping in mind the IP’s revenue growth in perspective. The whole set design featured LED Screens, and the Awards were completely digitalized.
On this year’s Awards, Kinjal Shah, CEO, Crossword Book Stores Pvt. Ltd. said, “The auditorium was packed this year. I’m grateful to the publishing industry in India who came forward as one family to recognize its own stars. This year, the award was given in 10 categories and the first ever lifetime achievement award. A total of 11 awards were given away.”
