F5 Weddings designed and executed this super fun wedding at Goa Marriott Resort and Spa.
Guests flying in from the UK, Kenya and different parts of India were welcomed in Goan style with shell garlands and welcome drinks.
The festivities commenced with the Mehendi celebrations. The theme saw lots of hues in florals and a traditional touch. A pink carpet was laid out for the guests, while the pathway was decorated with pots and pretty floral decor.

As part of the engagements, guests could get Henna tattoos applied. The agency created a lovely floral backdrop for the bride's couch. Coconut counters were also seen by the poolside.

The evening commenced with a Bollywood style Sangeet night themed London Thumakda. Considering both the bride and groom were from London and enjoyed Bollywood movies it was an apt theme for their ceremony. The entrance gate was made of bulbs with London Thumakda written on it.

The stage was created with lots of bulbs and a 40X40 sq.ft. dance floor for family performances and the garba session. A comfortable theatre-style deewan seating ensured that guests enjoyed a close view of the performances.

The next morning saw the most energetic baraat. The groom made a super fun entry in an open rickshaw while the baraatis danced away to the tunes of Punjabi dhol. The rickshaw was painted beautifully in white with different colours of artwork on it.
The weather unfortunately played spoilsport. The wedding that was to be beach facing had to be moved indoors. The colour combinations used were white and peach with a hint of pink. The mandap was beautifully draped in white with pretty flower runners along the top of the mandap, with glass bowls with flowers hanging from the front. Centre-pieces included fish bowls with sand and shells and candles, flower petals and tea lights.
The same evening a Champagne Reception took place. It was a formal sit-down affair. The decor saw colours like baby pink and white. A beautiful stage with chandeliers was made. A dance floor with the couple’s initials was also created in the centre of the venue.
A beautiful backdrop with mirror hangings and flowers was made for the sweetheart table. There were huge flower ring structures kept near the backdrop. The centerpieces were very pretty looking shamadans wrapped with flowers.
The night kicked off with a video of the photos of the couple. A special champagne-based cocktail was made for the toast which was served. The evening was all about speeches and toasts by friends and family. After a thrilling performance by DnT, a Goa based band, the DJ took over.

Speaking of F5 Weddings, the bride exclaimed, “We wanted a wedding which was fun, enjoyable, different and something which captures the essence of India but also an event which is quite western reflecting our London roots. F5 went out of their way to make our vision true – they listened and delivered exactly what we wanted. And even when we were lost for ideas or didn’t know what needed to be done – their inputs and suggestions in general were perfect and rescued us!”
