Sansui Colors Stardust Awards 2016 was held at the Jio Garden, BKC on December 19, 2016. The show was hosted by Abhishek Bachchan and Ritesh Deshmukh, and co-hosted by Manish Paul and Farah Khan. The event was scripted, directed, managed and coordinated by Cineyug Group of companies. Sansui’s new curve television Borderless Curved 4K Ultra HD TV was launched in a grand way at the Awards, and was brought on a Palki through a procession with dancers as the biggest star of the evening.

Sushant Singh Rajput performed on the songs of the nominated choreographers thus revealing them in a celebratory manner. The songs included Baby Ko Bass, Kar Gayi Chul, Chakora, Beat Pe Booty and Kaala Chashma.

As a part of Colors upcoming reality show ‘Rising Star’ integration, Diljit Dosanjh who will be one of the judges on the show, performed an energetic Bollywood Punjabi act on songs such as Ikk Kudi, Tung Tung, Paanch Tara, Do You Know and Proper Patola .

The charming Parineeti Chopra paid a tribute to Priyanka Chopra as she performed to a medley of her greatest hits.

The surprise performer of the evening was Himesh Reshammiya along with the Lulia Vantur where they performed on their new single – Every Night & Day. Lulia also performed and sang her version of Salman Khan’s popular song Main Hoon Hero Tera, Teri Meri & Jumme Ki Raat, while Himesh enthralled the crowd as he performed on his popular song Hookah Bar.

The alluring Jacqueline Fernandez paid a tribute to Asha Bhosle who received the living legend award. She performed on a mashup of songs like Aankhon Ki, Dil Cheez, Raat Akeli, Aao Na, Piya Tu, Mehbooba, Dum Maaro Dum to name a few.

Ranbir Kapoor performed on a medley of his songs from his latest hit movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

The finale act was performed by Shah Rukh Khan as he paid a tribute to co-stars such as Deepika Padukone, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. To begin this fan dedication act, he made an entry on his latest popular song Jabra Fan.
