Reebok India joined hands with Toast Events to present the very first edition of the Reebok Fit to Fight Awards 2016. The event was held on December 16, 2016 at Hyatt Regency, Delhi with a good media attendance and a few socialites from Delhi circuit, making a total attendance of more than 200 pax.

Over the years, Reebok has been synonymous with strength, determination and fearlessness. Catering to the fitness community in India, Reebok is committed to accompanying people, especially Indian Women on their journey to fulfil their potential. The event designed and conceptualised by Toast Events beautifully captured the fact that there truly is a champion within all of us, and it is we who need to see our own potential when no one else can. With the 3 categories of Fit to Fight Awards, Physical, Social and Mental, each category and its aspects were brought alive at the event with Women from various walks of life representing different categories and spreading the message across.

Not only award winners, but the performers too had a story to share, making it more special and intimate for the media and the guests.

Never give up, never back down - that’s the message conveyed by the first category of awardees from the Physical category. To set the tone of the event & physical category awards, a performance by Ability Unlimited (who are differently abled) showcased the determination and undying spirit, integrating with the first category of Award Winners. Followed by the performance, Thomas Dave, Managing Director, Reebok India, presented the first set of Awards to these incredible women who believed they could, so they did.

Social Awards, the next category awards, kickstarted with a performance by Anushka Manchanda who started off with Jaago Zara song and switched to a medley songs which included “The Girl is on Fire” and “Roar,” representing the aggression & fire in Women. This was followed by the Social Awards Category presented by Silvia Tallon, Director, Reebok India, to the Women who have been helping Society in reforming Education System or technology or making a better world for others to live in.

Kangana Ranaut represented the Mental category Awards whose context was set by the Queen of Bollywood and the Fit to Fight brand ambassador herself. The Mental category of awards honoured women that have shown mental fortitude in the face of tremendous obstacles. A brief chat session between Kangana and Ambika Anand, the host for the evening, was the highlight of the event which featured a mix of emotions as Kangana shared her personal story and how she overcame obstacles.

The night showcased power packed performances and incredible stories from these 12 women. Talking about the Event, Prateek Nagpal, Client Servicing Lead, Toast Events said, “The Set design was created in rich gold & black to give a classy and elegant look to the entire event whilst keeping in mind that we could not go overboard with the shine and gloss since it was a televised show.”

Integrating the concept further and bringing alive the Story of Fit to Fight, the agency converted Kettle Bells & Crossfit boxes to gold-coloured props which was the highlight at the pre-function zone as most of these guests posed with these props creating a buzz on Social Media.

Nagpal added, “A wall installation at the pre-function zone which catered to the Media interviews by Kangana Ranaut and the Awardees, was a masterpiece at the event, as well as the Fit to Fight Gallery which showed various Campaign shots and highlights from the Campaign for Media and guests to look at and to set the tone to the Awards Night.”

Nilesh Gurav, Director, Toast Events remarked “Fit to Fight is a state of Mind and Reebok believes that every woman can fight all odds once they are their fittest self. We at Toast believe in fighting against the odds and with every event we raise the bar higher. This event was special to us as it acknowledged the struggle of Women and empowered them. We wanted to give these Women an exhilarating platform and an unforgettable night!

Managed by Toast Events, the event held on December 16, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency, Delhi had an audience of over 200 media persons and socialites.
