GS Worldwide Entertainment Manages Chennaiyin FC Home Venue Setup

GS Worldwide Entertainment Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium
Indian Super League’s champion team of last year Chennaiyin FC got GS Worldwide to manage and handle their home team ground in Chennai – the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai. The league started from October 1 and ended at the beginning of December 2016. The matches saw an average of 22,000 spectators at each game.
The association came about GS Worldwide Directors Bunty Walia and Juspreet Singh Walia who have been very closely working with Abhishek Bachchan for years on many different aspects were asked to take up the responsibility. GS Worldwide has already proved its capabilities to ChennaiyinFC’s co-owner Abhishek Bachchan during the Pro-Kabaddi League’s Jaipur Pink Panthers management and execution for 4 seasons in a row.
The set up varied from one sub-location to another, starting from the entrance to the stadium which was branded with ChennaiyinFC's logo and hoardings, followed by the outer area beautifully lit up. There were 4 lounges starting from the Owners Lounge, which was a uniquely conceptualized area for the team owners to relax and enjoy the game. The VVIP Lounge situated right outside the owners lounge was designed and branded with Chennaiyin FC’s players poster all over the walls.
Talking about the highlights of the event for the agency, Juspreet Singh Walia remarked, “The best highlights of the match would be when Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Nita Ambani, Abhishek Bachchan, Vita Dani and other celebrities came and liked the concepts and the idea that boomed and successfully made its mark on Season 3 of the Indian Super League. Ekansh Gupta and Anusha Cavle from Chennaiyin Football Club took it on themselves to make sure they congratulated and appreciated the GS Worldwide Team for all their hard work and creativity.”
A super fan zone was set up for winners of a contest run by the club while a drummer seated on the entertainment stage warmed up the crowd just before the match and cheered the crowd and players during the match. A mixed zone was set up as an area where the reporters could meet the owners and the players.
The agency was responsible for the setup of the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai, and created various zones for different sets of audiences.
