Worldwide Media Pvt. Ltd- a part of the Times of India Group recently organized and executed The Machinist Global Manufacturing Summit, a one day conference program on the theme of ‘Excel, Enhance, Expand’ at The Westin Gurgaon on Dec 7, 2016.  The event saw many dignitaries under one roof who congregated under the platform to share their thoughts on the manufacturing sector.

On this occasion, Pratyush Kumar, President, Boeing India delivered a keynote speech on the topic of the theme of the event. Additionally, the CEO Panel at the event consisted of industry leaders like — Dr. Andreas Lauermann- President & MD, Volkswagen India Pvt. Ltd., Harsh Dhingra, Chief Country Representative- Bombardier Transportation India, Pankaj Dubey- MD, Polaris India, CEO and Director, Eicher Polaris and Harish Pant- MD, Hampson Industries Pvt Ltd, who threw light on the “Glocal Leadership: Going Global, Thinking Local”. The panel discussions were moderated by Niranjan Mudholkar, Editor- The Machinist magazine and Chief Community Officer –B2B Division, Worldwide Media Pvt. Ltd.

During the event, The Machinist Hall of Fame 2016 award was bestowed upon to the industry veteran Rajan Nanda- Chairman & Managing Director, Escorts Ltd for his enormous contribution towards Indian manufacturing industry. Nanda received a standing ovation from the industry stalwarts present in the audience.

In addition to this, a presentation on “Marrying product innovation with market dynamics” was given by Ankur Rooprai, Executive Director, (Ops &Engg.) Landking G-Maan Group of Industries.

The Machinist Global Manufacturing Summit was powered by Mitsubishi Electric.
