The Rural Summit 2016 will take place on December 8 at the Indian Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The day-long summit has as its focus the subject of ‘Business Models Using People Public Private Partnerships’. Talking about the theme underlying the summit, Pradeep Kashyap, CEO, MART commented, “Public Private initiatives have not met with much success in the social sector so far because the community for whose benefit the partnership was created in the first place is nowhere in the picture. For such initiatives to succeed it is critical to involve the community from the beginning and instill a sense of ownership so that when the Public and Private Partners withdraw which they inevitably will, members of the community come forward to continue the initiative as it is for their own benefit. Thus the new 4 Ps success model – Public, Private, People Partnership.”
MART will also felicitate organisations that have done some of the best PPPP work.
Partners of the Rural Summit 2016 include Media Partner NDTV Prime; Banking Partner YES Bank; and Associate Sponsors Hero, JCB, Pepsico and 2.5 NVG.
The Summit will take place on December 8 at the Indian Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
