The Think Tank Entertainment The Renaissance

Zen is the new upcoming project of Kanakia Spaces in Kanjurmarg, a suburb in East Central Mumbai that showcases Japanese Zen living that reflects a living style with minimalist needs. The custodians at Kanakia Spaces wanted to host a stunning event for the launch of their new project and hence roped in The Think Tank Entertainment to manage execute it on November 14, at The Renaissance, Powai in Mumbai.

The brief given to The Think Tank Entertainment was for an event to be curated around the theme of a Zen Life. Inspired by this Japanese philosophy, the agency curated the stage, decor, ambiance, lighting, music, entrance and entertainment for the evening.

The center stage of the event had an Enso in the middle of the stage. An Enso symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe and the void. The logo was revealed right in the middle of this massive stage structure and the black and red colored stage had the essence of minimalist sophistication and perfect decor with its side pillars. The mist behind the Enzo circle enhanced the feel of the massive circle.

The agency had also incorporated a cross bamboo structure with Japanese lanterns into the décor of the event. These were stationed at the venue to further accentuate the theme of the evening. Additionally, mini rock gardens were also placed at the different counters at the venue, elevating the theme and decor.

The feel and the theme of the evening was set from the very entrance of the place. The entrance arch was inspired by a historic Japanese structure, The Shinto Arch. The walkway that followed this arch was a typical Japanese Cross Bamboo Structure.

In terms of entertainment, the agency served to attendees of the event an eye-catching straw hat act. The act was curated to go along the lines of Japanese ingenuity. A sand artist showcased the story of a city dweller and their progression from this hustle of the city to the calm midst of the Zen life in Kanjurmarg.

Another highlight of the event was the innovative calligraphy corner with an artist who translated and inscribed the name of each guest and the host in Japanese. As a take – way, the calligraphy token was a memento that was cherished by all.

Manav Tambat, Marketing Head, The Think Tank Entertainment, remarked after the event, “It was amazing opportunity to represent the company and curate an evening for our esteemed Real Estate Client, Kanakia. Yet again, we came up with a concept of an exquisite decor pertaining to the theme of their property, Zen. It was an enthralling experience, with the whole evening coming together with the decor, set up and entertainment.”

The event took place on November 14, at The Renaissance, Powai in Mumbai.
