Naveen Jindal's Team Wins 5th Edition of YES Bank Indian Masters Polo Tournament

YES Bank, one of India’s largest private sector banks, in its effort to promote and diversify sporting activities in India has for the past 4 years spearheaded a polo tournament - YES Bank Indian Masters Polo.
Wishmakers, an event management company headquartered in Delhi, has partnered with the bank to execute the tournament since it’s inception, and came on board once again to kick off the 5th edition organized in the second week of November at the Jaipur Polo Grounds New Delhi. The tournament ran through the week and culminated with an exciting finale on November 13.
The agency managed all aspects of the event, from design and branding to the setup and on-ground execution. The event gathered a lot of attention from Delhi’s Polo aficionados and saw several luminaries attend. Dignitaries like the British High Commissioner Dominic Asquith; French Ambassador Alexandra Ziegler; Ambassador of Slovenia Jozef Drofenik; High Commissioner of Cyprus Demetrios A. Thephylactou; MP Yashodhara Raje Scindia; entrepreneur Sunjay Kapur; and Shallu and MP Navin Jindal were just some of the polo enthusiasts who were spotted at the event.
The finale proved to be a thrilling conclusion to the tournament with Naveen Jindal’s team Jindal Panther emerging as winners of the 2016 edition. They beat Jindal Steel & Power by 9 goals to 5. Raghav Rao of Jindal Panther was endowed with the coveted title of the ‘Most Valuable Player’, while ‘Pinse’ mare from the Jindal stables was given the ‘Best Polo Pony’ title. Ashok Chawla, Non-Executive Chairman, Yes Bank along with Radha Singh, Co-Chairperson Yes Institute gave away the trophy and prizes to the winners.

Managed by Wishmakers, the 5th edition was organized in the second week of November at the Jaipur Polo Grounds New Delhi and culminated with an exciting finale on November 13, 2016.
