200 Leading Restaurants in 5 Cities Witness Season 2 of the Diabetic Food Trail

After the success of the first edition, The Diabetic Food Trail is once again offering Diabetics, Pre-Diabetics and health-conscious individuals a wonderful culinary experience at over 200 restaurants across Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore & Pune. Organised by Semora Entertainment Works, the Diabetic Food Trail is presented by Britannia Nutrichoice Essentials in association with Biocon, the largest Indian Insulins Company, and along with Fitternity.com, Health & Nutrition and Burrp!

This year’s Diabetic Food Trail started on November 12 and will go on till the end of the month. Celebrated chefs from acclaimed restaurants across the country will get a chance to showcase their culinary talents to an all new set of target audience that did not have many options for healthy and diabetic food in the city.

Some of the participating restaurants include Sassy Spoon, Ritz Carlton-Bangalore, Farzi Cafe, Zaffran, Copper Chimney, Lemon Leaf, Boveda, Tawak, Hyatt Place & Hyatt Regency-Gurgaon, Fern Hotels, Taj Vivanta Pune, Malaka Spice, GRT Grand, Park Hyatt-Chennai, Radisson Blu in Chennai, Renaissance-Powai, Lavaash by Saby, Little Italy, Samlly’s Restocafe in Bangalore, Woodside Inn, Mirchi & Mime, La Bodega, Smoke House Deli, Faasos, to name a few.  Last year, chefs produced over 2000 innovative diabetic friendly dishes and this year, the figure will be doubled.

The Briannia NutriChoice Essentials Diabetic Masterclasses will help individuals understand the ingredients, nutritional values, read packaging labels, learn exciting recipes which will help elevate the eating habits of diabetics without compromising on taste. These masterclasses will be held by renowned nutritionists and chefs across the 5 cities.

Further, Diabetic Masterclasses are being conducted to educate people on how easy it is to cook Tasty, Diabetic-friendly dishes with local, simple ingredients. Celebrated and noted Executive Chefs are presently conducting these classes in 5 cities, witnessing a participation of around 50 people in each class. Culinary students have been invited to participate in the masterclass, as step towards training and educating future hospitality professionals to be oriented towards healthy preparations and recipes. The Healthy Dessert Trail is taking place 3 cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore) as a celebration for people with a sweet tooth to indulge in sugar-free desserts.
