Hero Salutes the Real Heroes Through a Facebook-Live-led Campaign by Salt

Hero Motocorp Ltd. conducted a campaign called “Hero Salutes the Real Heroes” in order to share their gratitude towards the soldiers and their sacrifices. Saluting the fact that our Indian soldiers are going through various hardships and doing their best to make Indians can breathe the air of freedom and safety, children from various schools went live on Facebook and shared their feelings, respect and love towards the Soldiers. This event was covered live on Facebook from October 5 to 14.

Salt Experiences & Management conceptualized, produced and executed the entire campaign. 5 schools and defense camps in the Delhi NCR region were tapped to carry out the campaign. 250-300 children from each school went live and everyone at that particular time could see the footage live on the social networking site.

Speaking about the campaign, Gagandeep Singh, Group Head Activation, Salt Experiences and Management Pvt. Ltd., said, We are very glad to be part of this campaign in which kids at various national and international school levels showed their gratitude towards the Indian soldiers and the sacrifice they do for this country at every second. Our team successfully covered the live messages directly from their school premises through messages and patriotic songs to encourage our soldiers and showing their token of appreciation. This event was technologically sound as for the first time, the soldiers saw live messages at their Cantonment areas."

Facebook live as a concept has really been appreciated by all the soldiers who got a chance to see all these children. Apart from the soldiers, the people watching it online were also grateful and supported Hero in this amazing campaign. It gained lot of traction online and the students as well as the general audience participated enthusiastically to show and express their heartfelt gratitude towards the soldiers.

5 schools and defense camps in the Delhi NCR region were tapped to carry out the campaign where 250-300 children from each school expressed appreciation for Indian soldiers via Facebook Live.
