Impact Communications, one of the most premier rural and experiential marketing agencies in the country has bagged the exclusive advertising and media rights for the upcoming Sonepur Mela 2016.  Sonepur Mela is Asia largest commercial Mela that attracts over 5 million rural visitors in 30 days.

The Department of tourism, Govt of Bihar, awarded the rights to the agency after a two-stage multi-agency bidding process.

Custodians from the agency have exclusively confirmed to EVENTFAQS that Impact Communications is looking to create memorable experiences using Technology led engagements along with Innovative OOH that create an impactful impression for participating brands.

Sonepur Mela offers something for everyone while men from around the country converge at the Mela for cattle purchase and entertainment, women come to mela for shopping and outing opportunity. Beyond the regular entertainment, this year Sonepur Mela will also have water sports as an additional experience for the visitors.

Close to 100 leading International, National and regional brands participate in the Mela every year and the number is expected to increase this year.

Impact communication with its team of experts will help clients in creating awareness, experience, visibility, trials, and sales led interventions at the mela which is slated to begin from November 12th 2016.
