The extravagant wedding celebrations of Meera Shah from London and Prashant Manek from UAE were held on Oct 8 and 9 at Ibiza, the world’s most glamourous beach destination! Quite predictably, the couple instantly fell in love with the magical and spiritual energy of Ibiza!

THE DESTINATION: Intriguing Ibiza

Ibiza is one of the Balearic islands, an archipelago of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. It is better known for the vibrant nightlife in Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni. Interestingly, Ibiza also has quiet villages, yoga retreats and beaches, from Platja d'en Bossa, lined with hotels, bars and shops, to quieter sandy coves backed by pine-clad hills found all around the coast.

The celebrations commenced on October 8, as guests were welcomed at the Ibiza airport and brought with private transport to their 5-star accomodation. 

Everything chosen was unique and top-of-the-line. Right from 5-star Hotel properties such as ME and Insotel Fenicia for guest accommodation to iconic Ibiza venues such as LIO & HEART. Over 35 top chefs were flown in to display their magic, at each of the events. 

HIGH TEA WITH A VIEW!: In the afternoon, guests enjoyed a high tea organized on the famous rooftop restaurant of the ME hotel with a 360º view over the secluded bay of the sophisticated beachside retreat.

THE SENSATIONAL SANGEET: The same evening, a ‘Sangeet’ and an unforgettable show night took place in world famous club, LIO.

THE GORGEOUS GARDEN WEDDING:  Day 2 commenced with a ‘Baraat’ assembly at the entrance of the ME hotel. 

The guests assembled for the wedding rituals, which took place at the hotel's stunning garden and lawns, against the gorgeous backdrop of the Ibiza sunset!

THE RECEPTION- A SPECTACULAR FEAST: The wedding was followed by a black-tie wedding reception in the evening at HEART. The extraordinary establishment offers innovative cuisines from culinary pioneers- Ferràn and Albert Adrià; and the founder of the world famous Cirque du Soleil - Guy Laliberté!

On the last day, guests were treated to an extended gourmet brunch at the Salt and Sea restaurant in the ME hotel.
