UBM Retail Jewelry Guild Awards is a unique initiative that honors the best in the retail jewelry business. The awards aim to recognize and promote talent and efforts of various companies in the industry, and every year a few chosen companies who have excelled in this field are presented with a plaque and a certificate that recognizes their contribution.
Real Show, an event agency based in Kolkata, bagged the mandate to execute UBM Retail Jewelers Guild Awards this year followed by a multi-agency pitch. The event took place at The Lalit, New Delhi on September 24 and saw over 20 awards been given away to winners in multiple categories.
The event was high on technology integration and featured a 50 ft. wide watch out screen, sliding backdrop images, & animation, multiple AV, lighting and mapping effects. Speaking about it, JD Mazoomdar, CEO, Real show remarked, “Planning and executing the award night along with the fashion show for UBM is always great fun, since we get to design a complete glam packed agenda for them, right from theme to entertainment, to the award nights. This year, we made ‘Glamour’ as the core theme of the awards and events, and the same was reflected in everything, right from branding, to our stage design, to an effervescent fashion show that closed the event. Needless to say, the appreciation came from all quarters of the audience, and the fact that decibel and energy levels never dipped once during the night is testament to the planning and execution!”
The fashion show at the event was choreographed by Delhi based choreographer, Rachna Sikka, with support from designer Rosy Alluwalia, and saw celebrity models Aditi Arya, Evelyn Sharma, Neetu Chandraa, Sushree Mishra, and Sushruthi Krishna walk the ramp as showstoppers. Gazal Vats was the emcee of the event.
