Brandwidth Events Manages the Launch of Spanish Football League - LaLiga in India

LaLiga, the Spanish Football League, with clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona is finally foraying into the Indian market owing to a large fan base! India On Track, the strategic agency for LaLiga in India, entrusted Brandwidth Events to execute the launch event of the Spanish League which took place on September 15 at the Kamal Mahal, ITC Maurya New Delhi.
LaLiga and India On Track wanted to create an unconventional launch event and not a mere press conference. The set-up, décor and engagement were hence planned in tandem. From placing official Nike LaLiga Footballs as table centre-pieces, to football display stands showcasing various LaLiga footballs, to creating an interesting photo op installation, everything was done to give a flavor of the league to the audience.
LaLiga turned its attention towards India as it has a large fan base for the sport and particularly for Spanish football. The launch event was attended by Fernando Morientes, LaLiga Ambassador who also played for Real Madrid and Liverpool in his hey day.
The Spanish delegation was led by LaLiga President, Javier Tebas, Sony Pictures Networks India CEO, N.P. Singh, Span’s Ambassador to India, Magdalena Cruz, General Secretary of the All India Football Federation (AIFF), Kushal Das and the Chairman of India On Track, Gaurav Modwel.
Javier Tebas outlined the league’s plan and strategy for the Indian market during an interesting Q & A session with the guests.
A surprise was in store for the guests. The entire Davis Cup Spanish Tennis Team led by Rafael Nadal joined the launch celebration to show their support for LaLiga. A special Foot tennis court was made in the center of the event area where Nadal and Morientes played an exhibition match.
