As the UAE grows closer to becoming one of the world’s leading destinations for leisure and entertainment, the gates to Dubai Parks and Resorts and IMG Worlds of Adventure will open. In 17 years, The Hotel Show Dubai has developed with the market, witnessing significant diversification and growth. Co-located event The Leisure Show entered the mix in 2013 to cater to the region’s growing leisure industry.”

Elaborating on new developments and offerings in the 2016 edition of The Hotel Show, Williams added, “The Hotel Show extended its global reach with new countries added to its ‘International Village’, which covered 46% of the show floor. In sync with a leading industry trend, technology now represents 22% of the Hotel Show’s product mix, with international technology suppliers, the TecSec (Technology and Security) Summit, and new for 2016: Tec-Innovation Zone. Each year, exhibitor stands in this sector become more attractive.”
dmg Events teamed up with the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai and Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates to provide their global visitors unrivalled accommodation during their time in the UAE.
Williams explained that the expanded partnership was in response to both events’ surging international appeal. He said: “More than 30% of our visitors arrived from outside Dubai in 2015, and we expected more global attendees than ever before this year. The Leisure Show was co-located with Piscine Middle East for the first time. Its organisers, Lyon-based GL events, attracted exhibitors from all over the world including Canada and Australia. Global companies want to do business here, and we provided hotel options for them at key points across Dubai including Business Bay, Al Barsha, and Mall of the Emirates.”
