F5 Weddings Radisson Blu
F5 Weddings planned and produced this wedding for a Singapore based couple at Raddison Blue Resort & Spa Alibaug. Photography was handled by Jodi Clickers.
Speaking of the client brief, Nandita Advani, Director, F5 Weddings said, “When we met this couple they requested for just one thing - all they wanted was a fun wedding and to make everybody feel involved. 'If there's anything new -try it on us' is what they said!”
The couple had friends from Australia, US, Singapore, London and Poland attending the wedding.
The festivities started with the Mehendi pool party, themed La Fiesta with rain dance. That morning, the bride woke up to the sight of her entire family sporting a T-shirt which read #chillikishaadi# on the back and the front side read 'Ladkiwalas'.
Also seen were balloon shooting games, mid size Jenga, Beer pong and ring toss to keep the guests amused. Fun photo booth with lots of props and carnival-themed food stalls with a coconut counter, a gola counter serving alcoholic popsicles and a popcorn counter which saw some very innovative flavours like dark chocolate and Thai spices! In the evening all the guests released helium balloons with everyone making a wish for the couple.
The following night was the Sangeet ceremony showcasing a Bollywood theme. Huge Bollywood posters with the couple and their family pictures on it adorned the entrance.
Check out the couple entering with so much ‘swag’ on a cycle rickshaw!
The next day, the groom arrived on a horse with all his baraatis wearing red safaas whereas the bride’s side wore yellow safaas.
The bride made the most special entry with all her bridesmaids holding message boards that said ONE LAST RIDE FOR THE BRIDE and she followed in an open doli carried by her brothers. The mandap was beautifully decorated with white and yellow flowers.
The wedding was an elegant affair. It was a walk-in reception where the couple wanted to mingle and seek blessings from one and all. The decor was tastefully done with at least 500 candles.
The celebrations featured fun themes and interesting entries.
