GS Entertainment Launches ‘Manasi – the Ideal Woman’ at Asilo, Mumbai.

GS Entertainment organised and managed the album launch of ‘Manasi– The Ideal Woman’ at Asilo, The St. Regis Hotel, Mumbai on August 16. The album resonates with Manasi's sensuality, her global appeal as an artist, her growth from singer to performer and exhaustive sound checks to standing ovations. Around 75 to 100 people were present.

Talking about GS Entertainment’s work putting together the launch, Juspreet Singh Walia, Director, GS Entertainment said, “We as an organisation manage Manasi’s work and have been working with her for over 8 years now. We worked with her to make this album come to reality. We along with Manasi and support from various partners organised and put this launch together. "

Asilo, one of India’s most luxurious alfresco and rooftop destinations was the perfect host for the album launch, which offered breath taking views of Mumbai’s skyline in an ambience that spelled chic, understated glamour and refined taste. Huge cheers were heard when attendees previewed the first song ‘Todona’ which is also directed by Manasi herself.  

Bollywood siren Malaika Arora took to the stage to launch the album’s first video. The evening was lifted by a palpable buzz of energy, star power and beautiful musical beats. The album was released by cricketer Zaheer Khar, actor Amit Sadh and film director Abhishek Kapoor via a first of its kind USB band with all the songs on them from the album #MANASItheidealwoman.

Also present were Kim Sharma, Tanisha Mukherjee, Vikas Bhalla, Suchitra Pillai, Aditi Govitrikar, Arjun Khanna, Reshma & Sulaiman Merchant, Karanvir Bohra, Namrata Purohit, Kubra Sait, Candice Pinto, Amit Gaur, Malini Agarwal, Salil Acharya, Shivya, Gauri Malhotra Narang and Juspreet Singh Walia.

Expressing his appreciation to all the partners of the event, Walia said, “Special thanks to everyone who made this launch event possible: Asilo, The St. Regis Hotel, Sanam Sippy, Diageo, CIROC, Francesca Smith for the Francesca outfit, SOUND.COM, Warren D'Souza, Sound Engineer Joel D'Cruz, Manasi's band The Hot Shots - Shannon Pereira (Lead Guitar), Ruell Barretto (Bass), Prathamesh Kandalkar (Percussion), Nigel Rajaratnam (Keyboards, Saxophone, Melodica), Mandar Mane and Parveen Bhatia.”

The PR partner for the event was iPurple (Gauri Malhotra Narang), while the digital partner was Yellow.

A compilation of 6 songs heavily influenced by her performance and carefully selected collaborations, the album features the songs Todona, Chashni featuring Palash Sen, Farmaanaa featuring Ishq, Kho Gaye, Saawan Raagaa featuring flute by Raghav Sachar & Jamalo featuring Mika. Impactful lyrics for the album are delivered with co-writer Amitabh Bhattacharya, while the album has been produced by Ashish Manchanda.
