Professional Beauty India pulled off yet another impressive display of India’s rapidly advancing Beauty & Wellness Industry at their recently concluded expo in New Delhi. The IP’s 13th edition in India, and the 5th in Delhi saw salon and spa professionals along with leading brands come together at Pragati Maidan on August 8-9 to explore and share the industry's latest developments and trends.

The two-day event saw A-listers of the beauty and hairdressing industry along with other industry professionals, brands, manufacturers, and suppliers under the same roof. Product launches, B2B meetings, educational seminars, make-up and hair competitions, top exhibiting brands and show exclusive discounts, made Professional Beauty Delhi the perfect destination for industry experts and buyers alike.

Sponsors & Partners

This edition of Professional Beauty Delhi was organised in association with Title partner Wahl India - the world’s leading clipper company, associate partner Ikonic - leading professional hair styling tools and accessories brand, and official make-up partner Kryolan -  award-winning professional make-up brand.

The main sponsors were joined by leading Indian and international beauty & wellness brands such as Aroma Magic, Cuccio, It’s Skin, Looks Academy, Macadamia, Make-up Revolution, Nubar, Olaplex, Shahnaz Husaain, Aryanveda, Olivia, Temptu and others, who exhibited their products and innovations at the show.  LTA School of Beauty launched their Delhi Training Academy during the event.

Speaking about her experience at Professional Beauty India Delhi edition, exhibitor Julie Chung, Founder, WAiSTED said, “Having visited Professional Beauty India earlier, I was already pleased with my experience as a guest. This time however I was on the other side as an exhibitor. We as a brand are not here just to sell our products and believe in bringing solutions to the need of the market. And I feel that PBI also organises the expo keeping this principle in mind. I decided to participate because of high recommendations of previous exhibitors, which sure didn’t disappoint. We’ve had a fabulous show!”

Another exhibitor, Dharinder Sehgal, General Manager, Looks Salons commented, “It’s been a packed stall for us at Professional Beauty Delhi, we’ve received a fabulous response. The crowd is eager and curious to learn new techniques and travelled from all parts of North India for P.B.I. We’ve met some key contacts and distributors and the Looks Salon team has had a fabulous time here. This definitely isn’t our last time exhibiting with Professional Beauty India.”

Awards & Competitions

Professional Beauty Delhi also hosted the AIHBA’s (All India Hair and Beauty Association) North India Hair and Beauty Awards. Many national level competitions were also held during the expo, like the Annual Make-up competition by VTCT and Make-Up Studio, which brought together hundreds of participants, and was a rewarding opportunity for make-up artists, hairstylists and nail technicians from across the country.

Another highlight of the two-day expo was the demo stage where top hair and make-up artists stole the spotlight and shared the secrets of their trade. Renee Melek from Wahl, Vipul Chudasama and Bina Punjabi from Ikonic, Jawed Habib from Jawed Habib Salons, Tara Moghaddam from Kryolan, Reema Gupta from Olaplex, and Shivani Sharma from Lure Nails were just a few of the crowd-pullers.

Next up on Professional Beauty India’s calendar of events is the Mumbai edition scheduled for Sept 26 - 27 at Hall 6, Bombay Exhibition Center and Professional Beauty Ludhiana following in December.
