Colours of Novotel Season 5 Unveiled @ Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre

Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Convention Centre unveiled the fifth season of their signature art exhibition ‘Colours of Novotel’ at the hotel premises. The event series focusses on bringing talented artists under one roof and showcasing their best works made from made from acrylic, oil pastels and watercolours.
This edition of the exhibiton being held from July 22 to Oct 31, 2016 features 30 paintings curated by art connoisseur and artist, Rangoli Grag. Inspired from nature, love, culture, and mythology, this season’s collection feature works of renowned artists like Bala Bhakta Raju, Vasanthula Ramakrishna, Rangoli Garg, Agacharya, and Satheesh Khanna. The exhibits are on sale till the conclusion of the event in October.
Neil Paterson, General Manager, Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and HICC hosted the inauguration ceremony of this edition at the Novotel Ballroom. The inaugural ceremony had guests interacting with the artists and their works, accompanied by wines, snacks and live ethnic-Indian tunes. Live interactive sessions on Lippan work, Tanjore art, bamboo art, and bangle making crafts also kept guests involved with the overall theme of the evening.
Speaking on the occasion, Paterson said, “‘Colours of Novotel’, a signature series from the hotel dedicated to recognizing art and artists from across regions, has provided a platform for over 25 artists over the last year, and has entered its fifth edition now. The response to the innovative presentation of this edition is very encouraging, and the artists are pleased for having their works showcased on such a platform. An event such as this highlights our dedication towards this country’s diverse culture, while also contributing to the increase in interest towards Indian contemporary art”.
The signature event series brings artists under one roof to showcase 30 of the best paintings curated by artist Rangoli Garg, from July 22 - Oct 31.
