Take a look at how young and upcoming photographer Malvika Periwal captured stunning moments of this 3-day extravaganza by Dream Indian Weddings, the wedding division of Crescent Events and For You International Group. The agency planned, designed and executed this wedding in Hua Hin, Thailand from April 18 to 20, 2016.
For You International is a specialist in planning weddings and private events in Thailand. Interestingly, they were recently felicitated by The Tourism Authority of Thailand for doing the maximum number of weddings in at the destination in 2015.
The celebrations took place at Dusit Thani, Hua Hin. Overlooking an idyllic beach on the Gulf of Thailand and surrounded by lush greenery, Dusit Thani Hua Hin is an ideal Indian wedding venue as it provides the ultimate resort experience in a historic destination steeped in Thai royal heritage. In addition to the natural beauty that surrounds it, the hotel’s spacious grounds include an ornamental lake, lily pond, tropical gardens, two magnificent swimming pools and much more.
The wedding commenced with a Punjabi themed Mehendi Lunch at Ban Benjarong, an outdoor cum indoor venue at the hotel.
Ban Benjarong serves authentic Royal Thai cuisine using recipes that have been passed down over generations. Housed in a traditional Thai setting overlooking the ornamental lake, Ban Benjarong is perfect for a pre-wedding event.
The same evening, a Moulin Rouge themed Welcome Dinner took place at the hotel.
The Welcome Dinner was followed by a Playboy themed Youngsters at Black, one of the most popular nightclubs in Hua Hin which is at The Sheraton.
Simultaneously, a Casino themed After party was organized for the elders at Dusit Thani. The event saw Tiffany show girls entertaining the guests.
Day 2 saw a Hawaiian themed Pool Party at the beachside of the hotel.
The same evening, a gorgeous Morrocan Sangeet was held with stunning decor in the hotel's ballroom. Royal Dusit Grand Ballroom has a capacity for up to 1,000 guests and is divisible into two smaller rooms. It is an architectural masterpiece, where classic period features subtly combine with Thai interior design. Silk wall panelling and delicately white woodcarvings accentuate the elegance of the ballroom.
On April 20, a morning Christian Wedding featuring All White theme took place at the Rim Talay Bar & Grill overlooking the ocean. With its beachside location, panoramic view of the Gulf of Thailand and selection of gourmet dishes, Rim Talay Bar & Grill was the perfect venue for a romantic soiree like this Wine & Cheese affair.
In the evening, a traditional Indian Wedding took place. However, various interesting Thai elements were used such the Fire Lion during the Baraat.
The Varmaala took place on a floating platform at The Lagoon Jetty.
The bride entered in a boat with dry ice creating a foggy mystical effect to the entry!
The celebrations took place at Dusit Thani, Hua Hin.
