Birla Corporation’s ‘Buniyad Rishton Ki’ – Annual Dealer Conference 2016 was seamlessly delivered by Servmarc Communion at Ramoji Film City Hyderabad. The conference, held on July 18, was a reward & recognition programme for Birla Corporation’s premium partners associated with them on a pan-India level.
The Hyderabad leg was the main centrifugal event that captured the national focus. This will be followed by a regional event each in Lucknow, Kolkata and Udaipur during August and September.
The account was bagged via a multi-agency pitch. On the client’s brief, Satyaki Sengupta, CEO, Servmarc Communion said, “The brief was clear right from the outset – Birla Corporation, hosting an event like this for the first time in 65 years, wanted to hold an event that would be a blend of technology, content driven, dealer centric yet punched with power-packed entertainment capsules that would captivate and hold the audience in an all-round way.”
800+ guests were part of the conference that was hosted by Deepti Sadhwani and AK Rahman.
The evening commenced with the Ganesh Vandana, followed by a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by BR Nahar (Managing Director, Birla Corporation), and Sandeep Ranjan Ghose (Executive President – Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Birla Corporation). This was followed by the emcee asking all present to stand up for the Buniyad Anthem which was conceptualised by Servmarc Communion.
Sandeep Ranjan Ghose thereafter delivered a keynote address welcoming all the guests present. An AV charting the three generations of leaders of Birla Corporation set the cue for the entry of Harshvardhan Lodha (Chairman) by way of LED split backdrop mechanism. He then went onto give a keynote speech. This was followed by a 3D mapping sequence of the background establishment of ‘Buniyad’.
Post this, an award ceremony was also hosted to gratify 50 of Birla Corporation’s premium partners for their ace performance in the FY 2015-16. The awards were interspersed with choreographed dance acts, mapping sequences, key speeches by Birla Corporation officials, the launch of ‘Club Ultimate’ through CRM mapping and an AV and emcee interactions with the audience and company representatives.
Revealing the conference’s setup, Satyaki shared, “A customised mapping content was specially conceptulised to bring alive the main event backdrop spreading over the stage size of 52’x40’x5’ height. The other high point of the production was the Augmented Reality setup at the pre-function area, where the registration process of the invited guests took place.”
The highlight of the evening was Shaan’s power-packed performance which mesmerised everyone.
The event drew to a close with the emcees requesting Biswajit Matilal (VP – Corporate Communication, Birla Corporation) to deliver the Vote of Thanks. Dinner and cocktail marked the end of the high-energy event.
