'She Walks, She Leads’ Book Reveal by 70 EMG with Shah Rukh Khan, Nita Ambani & Others

70 EMG was mandated with the launch of Gunjan Jain’s book, ‘She Walks, She Leads’ in Mumbai. The ceremony on July 21 at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel had the presence of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan as the Chief Guest.

The agency was responsible for putting together the entire book launch that had over 300 guests.

The host of the evening were Nita Ambani and Deepak Parekh. Among the many attendees were - the entire Ambani Family, Ajay and Swati Piramal, Anand Mahindra, Simi Garewal, Neelam, Zia Mody, Ananya Goenka and many others.

Other than the book launch there was an active panel discussion moderated by Shereen Bahn. The eminent panel featured: Adi Godrej, Ajay Piramal and Suhel Seth. The topic of discussion was ‘The Pursuit of success the difference between men & women’.

The opening speech was delivered by Nita Ambani and Ajay Piramal, while the closing note was by Deepak Parekh who also thanked the guests for their support.

The book, published by Penguin Random House India, talks about the story of 24 women leaders of India and their journey so far. The women profiled span fields including business, sports, arts and media and comprise icons such as Nita Ambani, Parmeshwar Godrej, Rajashree Birla, Sudha Murty, Yasmeen Premji, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Indra Nooyi, Zia Mody, Chanda Kochhar, Anu Aga, Naina Lal Kidwai, Swati Piramal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Mira Nair, Shabana Azmi, Shobhana Bhartia, Indu Jain, Jyotsna Darda, Anamika Khanna, Ritu Kumar, Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza and Mary Kom.
