Planned and executed completely by Mumbai based event planners Tamarind Global last year, 300 guests were welcomed into Alila Diwa in Goa on the first day of the wedding celebrations of a high profile client.

As soon as guests arrived from the airport, they were transported straight into a poolside brunch and sundowner. The entire area was covered with drapes in aqua and white, creating a beautiful and apt setting for a pool event.

Pretty white flowers, beige floral frames and dinky glass bottles descended from the trees at varying heights, creating a magical effect.

The central attraction on the lawn was a huge wish tree from which hung numerous pictures of the couple and friends as well as blank notes for guests to write down their wishes for the couple. 

The afternoon kicked off with brunch, served on the lawn as the talented Goan vocalist Chrystal belted out popular retro favorites.

Post lunch the guests naturally gravitated towards the pool area to continue the party. The pool deck was draped in a similar fashion and had cabanas created for guests to lounge in. 

Giant white flowers loomed enchantingly over the bar and the dancing deck, while aqua cushions added colour to the chic white sofas. The cabanas also had mehendi walis and masseuses to entertain the guests.

Tamarind Global had erected a large stage seamlessly at the edge of the pool on which the legendary international trio - Paris House Addict(PHA), consisting of a saxophonist, violinist and percussionist performed for 7 hours from brunch through sundown and till the night!

With pulsating Hollywood and Bollywood hits from PHA, mixologists manning an elaborate bar setup, beautiful pool setting and an energetic crowd, the celebrations for this wedding started with a big bang.
