Today companies see rural as the next growth destination as a plethora of Innovations and transformational initiatives are being carried out in the rural domain. However, many are taking steps in the domain with caution as many corporates in the past have failed to go beyond the pilot phase and never achieved scale-ups. Additionally, with higher cost involved for reaching out to rural be it for research or awareness generation or product distribution, there is a constant search for economies for lowered cost or increased scale.
Hence, to meet this need of the hour Rural Marketing Association in India (RMAI) is hosting a collaboration and networking event called “RUHIVE” (Rural Business Hive) to be held in September, 2016 in Mumbai.
The initiative aims to take forward RMAI’s vision of collaborating and co-sharing of solutions to reach Rural in an effective and cost-efficient way. RUHIVE also aims to serve as an exclusive platform for Rural Marketing Veterans (Providers) from the industry and Corporate (Delegate Partners) to collaborate and Co-Share to maximize Rural Reach and Return on Investments (ROI).
RMAI is currently inviting prime Industry providers to participate in one of its kind networking event to leverage on sharing in a synergistic environment. The four areas of collaboration this year include:
1. Demand Generation: Awareness, Activation and Order Generation
2. Supply Chain: Storage/Stocking, Common Selling Points, Logistics (Last mile reach)
3. Innovation and Technology: Process and Service Innovation, Technology Aggregation
4. Public Private Partnership (PPP)
Coveted takeaways from RUHIVE’s strategic interventions shall be proposals and ideas on how to build scalable, sustainable and replicable models in rural and mutual learning through experience sharing.
