Encompass and Wizcraft Win Maximum Golds; Encompass Leads WOW Awards Asia 2016 Metals Tally

WOW Awards Asia Wizcraft Entertainment Encompass Events Laqshya Live Experiences WOW Awards Asia 2016

The WOW Awards and Conventions 2016 concluded with two dazzling award ceremonies on June 24 & 25 at the Pullman Aerocity New Delhi where the best campaigns in Asia in the experiential domain were recognized. The award ceremonies were hosted by Riaz Basha and Gitikka Ganju Dhar on Day 1 & Day 2 respectively and saw a total of 226 metals (70 Gold, 81 Silver and 75 Bronze) being presented across category groups of Business/MICE Events, Experiential Marketing, Event Intellectual Properties, Experiential Celebrations and Experiential Management. 

Day 1 of the awards saw top honors being presented in the Group Categories of Experiential Management and Experiential Celebrations. In Group E, of Experiential Management Categories- Sound & Light Professionals won the majority of 4 metals whereas SOUND.COM made a clean sweep in the Achievement in Sound Solution category, clinching all 3 Bronze, Silver and Gold honors in the category. A total of 39 Metals were given away in this group including 12 Gold, 14 Silver and 13 Bronze.

In the Experiential Celebrations Group D, a total of 37 metals were given away including 12 Gold, 14 Silver and 11 Bronze. Maximum Gold honors (4) and maximum metals (5) in the group category were won by Motwane Entertainment and Weddings. 

Day 2 of the awards saw the best campaigns in MICE/Business events, Experiential Marketing and Event Intellectual Properties being felicitated. In Group Category A, MICE/Business Events a total of 29 metals were awarded wherein Laqshya Live Experiences emerged as the biggest winners clinching the maximum of 6 metals. STIR won the maximum of 2 Golds in the group category. 

A total of 90 Metals were given away in the Group B, Experiential Marketing at the WOW Awards Asia 2016 and the competition was fierce as Wizcraft International, Encompass Events, Toast Events, Impact Communication, Guestlist, 70 Event Media Group came out as the biggest winners scoring 2 Golds each. The maximum metals however were won by Encompass Events (some along with partner entrants) that were presented a total of 11 metals in the category. 

Last Group Category C, comprising of Event Intellectual Properties saw a total of 31 metals being given away including 10 Gold, 10 Silver and 11 Bronze honors. Go Bananas, Ferriswheel Entertainment and Cineyug emerged as the big winners in the group winning 2 metals each.

Overall Encompass Events (along with its partner entrants) won the maximum awards, with 16 metals followed closely by Laqshya Live Experiences that won 15 metals and Percept Group that won 8 metals.
