Cineyug Gets Amitabh Bachchan to use Augmented Reality to Bring Robomate+ to Life

The launch of Robomate+, a curriculum-based study App by MT Educare, took place on June 12 at Dome, NSCI in Mumbai. Managed by Cineyug, the formal launch was conducted by Actor Amitabh Bachchan who gave a speech on education and on Augmented Reality (AR). The event was attended by more than 8000 students and teachers from across Maharashtra.
MT Educare’s brief to Cineyug specified an innovative, creative launch production-wise. The agency then recommended Augmented Reality to take the launch to a whole new level. Transhuman Collective was brought on board to manage the AR aspect of the launch.
The event was conceptualized and set up in less than 10 days.
Augmented reality brought to life a teaser featuring the working of the App and its features, allowing the audience to get acquainted with the application. AR was also used to reflect upon the evolution of education, where the audience witnessed the blackboard being replaced by Robomate+ which features different subjects, tests, group discussions, live tutorials and more. The presentation demonstrated how studying is more convenient and fun than it's ever been.
On managing the launch, Mazhar Nadiadwala, Director, Cineyug International Entertainment said, “We were really honoured to once again have Amitabh Bachchan at Dome, this time around for the unveiling of Robomate Plus App for Mahesh Shetty and Chhaya Shastri. This definitely is the next big step in world of Education. This event saw thousands of students from across the state present to witness this great ceremony. Getting associated with the cause of Education always makes us proud.”
The evening was hosted by Hussain, who also performed a special act. The audience was also entertained with spectacular singing performances by 5 Raw Star performers Mohomed Irfan and Antara Mitra.
MT Educare Directors Dr. Chhaya Shastri and Mahesh Shetty also gave speeches on the new venture.
The launch event on June 12 featured a speech by Amitabh Bachchan, an AR unveiling, and musical performances at the Dome, Mumbai.
