Water Conservation Fundraiser by CS Direkt & Concern India Foundation on World Environment Day

CS Direkt and Concern India Foundation came together on World Environment Day to embrace changes and encourage people to conserve water. As part of the social initiative, a beautiful wishing tree was created at the Select City Walk Mall, Saket Delhi on June 4-5, which led to hundreds of mall visitors taking a pledge to save water and raise funds for the cause.

Sanjeev Pasricha, CEO and Director, CS Direkt commented, “The cause is to support programs supporting Natural Resource Management, which falls under community development and focuses on conservation, stabilization and replenishment of surface and ground water. We, at CS Direkt, believe supporting communities to build their essentials needs for daily use in a manner that they have plenty of their own resources and can become an independently functioning community. The World Environment Day stall by Concern India and CS Direkt was set up along with many others who reached out to shoppers at the Select Citywalk Mall to embrace conservation and recycling of resources. This initiative is a participatory model where people made a donation and they took a pledge to support saving water.”

Gunjan Lal, Manager - Resource Mobilisation, Concern India Foundation was also part of the 2-day fundraising project.
