Stunning Decor by Sakshi Jerath at Mumbai Reception by MEW!

This wedding reception at NSCI Dome, Mumbai was planned by Motwane Entertainment and Weddings and saw stunning decor which was designed and produced by Sakshi Jerath.

Fashion Photographer, Vaishnav was roped in for photography while The Wedding Filmer was responsible for the Videography. 

A music band named 'The Bartenders' kept the guests entertainmed, while Blue Sea Caterers dished out delicacies for the 2500 attendees at this event which comprised of many politicians, bollywood stars and society bigwigs.

The venue being a stadium, the ceiling of which is not very attractive for a social function, so the designer decided to treat the ceiling in such a manner that creates a mystical mood.

The unique colour story used was shades of purples with hues of grey! Floral installations were seen across the venue.

Table setting featured different kind of vases with mint green floral pots. 

Thus, the idea of creating a chandelier was an effective treatment idea by using various kinds of crystals and bulbs to enhance the lighting effect.

The entire concept for the decor for this event was to focus on the reception stage and the central bar installation. The installation was a larger than life chandelier.

This chandelier comprised of 12 rings that were angled at different heights. They were attached together with strings with crystals. The crystals used were carefully selected by the team to ensure the highest amount of refraction. There were more than 2 lakh crystals for this 30 feet high chandelier.

Sakshi Jerath started her career in fashion designing and has been in the wedding decor business for 6 years now. She started her career with WDC and has now ventured out on her own in Mumbai!
